Jiyu No Taki Ryu Jiu Jitsu
International Federation
Jiu Jitsu is
-
one of the oldest styles of martial
arts. It comes from the days of the Samurai that
was revived in 1995
-
quickly becoming known as the most
effective practical style of self-defense
-
not a sports style because The Real
world does not have a referee
On September 10, 2001,
our home school (Washington D.C.) was requested to perform
a self-defense seminar to employees of the House of
Congress.
The 10th Mountain Division
(Light Infantry, U.S. Army) at Fort Drum, NY frequently
taught tactics from this effective style for the battlefield,
as well as real life situations and confrontations.
Key points of instruction:
-
Awareness of your surroundings
-
Avoidance strategies
-
Striking Techniques
-
Pressure points, what they are,
and how to use them
-
Ground Attack
-
Pistol and Knife Defense
